Change; It starts with me

Life is beautiful as the rainbow, despite the trials and turmoils in it. Nowadays, there are a lot of negative and wrongdoings of people around, the corruption of high making officials, the crimes being committed and other activities that affect the peace and order situation and security of our country.

The popular saying goes this way, "Life is a matter of choice." I strongly believe in here because it's ourselves that really make or unmake our future.It's true there are other factors around us that would influence our life, our parents, peers the mass media, and among others.

Of what I am now I know I could improve for the better.It's my ownself that could start the change and no other else. I dream of having a better life and status in the future so it's me that would make the preparation and not other people to do it.

However, as Dr. Jose Rizal said that the youth of the land are the hope of Fatherland. I still believe in that we the youth can still do a lot for the betterment of our country in particular one community.

As a youth leader, I could do some things in my own little ways.Just having possible values towards work through participating in the Clean Drive of our barangay with the other officials is one that I could initiate. Another in participation in other activities in life our sports program and health consciousness campaign. I know that by just actively participating in our programs for development, change in the life of the people especially the youth would lapper. With this CHANGE would really starts with me and I have to do it NOW!! :)

♥ My Dream, My Future ♥

My vision for the future entails many goals that I know. I will have to work hard to achieve. I feel that the path to accomplish my goals will be tough hard work within my education. After this secondary education is our college life, more trials and challenges will come on our way. I believe that to be serious in one's studies is one of the best tools needed to face obstacles. It's not difficult to achieve success in life if ever.

My first and foremost plan is to graduate from high school I consider this to be a huge accomplishment considering that many people don't make it that fast.After graduation I will be attending college and I am aspiring to become a chef someday, somehow. I wanna be one of the famous chef in the world. As what others aim, I will be successful too afterward. I will do the best that I can be. Sacrifice much of my efforts and be tough enough so that I could be able to attain my dreams in life so from now on, I will study much harder than before, I will make everything such better ones.

Despite the temptations around, fighting spirit must prevail. Strong determination in life also should be the good value that one should have. My chosen dream is to be a successful chef here in the country or abroad could help me provide the needs of my parents when they get old and when I have my own family as well. So I'll pray to the Lord who is the source of eternal knowledge and wisdom to guide me always. :) ♥

♥ Kannawidan Festival ♥

This year Ilocos Sur celebrates fourth kannawidan festival from January 31 to February 6. Kannawidan is a variant of the Ilocano word "tawid" meaning heritage or heritance. Kannawidan was first an idea develop in the minds of a group of Civic spirited Ilocos who wanted to promote cultural awareness and preserves the rich historical and cultural heritage of Ilocos.

Kannawidan opened with a celebration of mass of the St. Paul cathedral and a town profession of the patron saints of all town of Ilocos Sur. The festival features the rich culture of the province. It also showcase the different agriculture and industry products by the different muncipalities through its trade fair. There were also various contest participated by men and women the highlight of these festival was the Saniata ti Ilocos Sur, a pageant contest with candidates coming from the different towns of Ilocos Sur.

The Kannawidan aims to preserves and sustain the old traditions attractive products and practices of the Ilocano as well as to promote the local tourism, industry and cause the increase in the demand for local products, create more jobs and generate more income.

Viva Vigan, Viva San Pablo

A lot of happenings and gatherings during the fiesta of Vigan City. January 25, the Biguenos celebrating the feast of "San Pablo". St. Paul is the the patron saint of Vigan City.

A lot of tourist visit Vigan to witness the events that the City prepared. On the 25th day of January, there was a parade. The grand parade is being held every City Fiesta and it is one of the most sought after event of the people of Vigan.

One thing I can't forget about January 25 was for the very first time, I participated in the parade with our school's CAT-I unit. In our complete uniform.

January 25, 2011 was the happiest day of my life and you know what, January 25 was one note worthy date for me. That was January is all about; a meaningful and colorful celebration especially for the Biguenos. We should be proud of Vigan City, because I know this is the most child-friendly City here in the Philippines.

Time really runs fast. Its seems that a snap of a finger has changed everything. Somehow, leaving the year 2010 could be the same leaving the third Grading period. And as we leave this endeavor, let's have a flashback of what we have learned at this time expression.
It is a bare fact that every person has enough knowledge,because I believe that everyone is learning through experience.
We have leveled up on the Web Page Design. It's not that hard but it takes time to use the HTML codes . We're already able to put some background colors and images. We have also learned how to put some links on it. Moreover, we have discovered how to enhance the text through font style, font size, and font color.
I address it by finding solutions of every challenges I'm facing. Moving on, I will do all my best to improve my knowledge about everything and I will work harder in my studies and in our activities.I'll try to get myself into the other uses of internet. I hope I could learn more. Furthermore, I hope we could have a fast-responding computer and fast internet connection.

♥ New Year, New Resolution ♥

Let's start the new beginning, new life, new hope, new resolution, new dreams, new challenges to face, and new existence.
Year in and year out, time flies so fast that we don't notice most of the times. There are moments of our life that we just take it for granted and do not give importance at all.Its high time that we start recollecting for ourselves.Just like the coming of a new year. We normally think of a resolution. This has been happening all over the world. But my question is this, how many of us have religiously fulfilled these?
This year, I want to be better and I will change all the bad attitudes I have. Do the things that we've no done last 2010. I want to be better and to work hard especially on my studies. How I wish that this new year, there would be peace in the world, because its so nice to live in a very peaceful place.
I could not promise but I would try my best to fulfill my resolution. I believe, it would make me better and the long run to help me shape my future. ♥♥

♥ True Essence of Christmas ♥

♥ Essence of Christmas for me ♥

Christmas is the best time of the year. It's the time when Jesus was born.The time our faith is renewed also. It's the time for forgiving and forgetting the bad things which others had done to us; the time we have to become better and make a resolution to strive harder.
During this Christmas, it's the time, it's better to give than to receive.Many of our families despite the difficulties in life prepare for this every important occasion. There are those who love listening and looking to young children singing carols or saying "Merry Christmas po."
For me, Christmas is a time of excitement. During this time, there are many activities and programs and we become busy, for school to our community.
The members of the family come together to celebrate and make bonding with each other especially those who'd been far from each other the rest of the year. They find time to renew their friendship and good relationship.
How I wish that this Christmas there would be peace in the world. It's so nice to live in a very peaceful place. Furthermore, nothing bad would happen to us and to the other people and I'm praying for their safety and that Lord shall always guide us no matter what. This is what I believe as the true essence of Christmas; a peaceful world and a happy place to live in. ♥

♥♥ Second Grading is Over ♥♥

I have learned that in every move we made and in every minute of our lives, learning is always on hand. As a youth I learned a lot from school. In school, I learned how to manipulate a computer and about HTML files. I learned how to participate in different activities in this topic. I have a lot of fun because it was very amazing. Because as we all know, all people have different responsibilities to make.

I address it by finding solutions of every challenges I’m facing.

Moving on, I will do all my best to improve my knowledge about everything and I will work harder in my studies and in our activities. I’ll try to get myself into the other uses of internet. :)

♥ A meaningful break ♥

" All works and no play makes John a dull boy." Breaking from a regular routine of our daily tasks makes our life more colorful and interesting. However, despite the break, between semesters, there are however tasks and activities which I was busy with. Semestral break is the most unawated event of all the students. It's time for them to relax and have fun.
I was an SK Kagawad Candidate, thus, I together with my other party-mates went out to campaign. Luckily, I was able to win as an SK Kagawad in our barangay and so with my father.
I also helped in the general cleaning at home wit the family members. Also, we visited and cleaned the tomb of our departed family members and which were with them on the All Soul's Day.
Of course, I also spared my time in reading my lessons and making my other school tasks. I also ventured other wholesome activities that contributed to a productive and meaningful semestral break.
Varied activities make our life more meaningful and colorful. If ever there are other chances that we get away from our regular routines. I will always make it a point to be memorable. ♥

" Breaking Barriers Through English"

Nothing is ever hard when there is a means of communication for all men. Indeed, we are very lucky to have something we call the English Language.

Have you ever wondered if there has been no language that unifies us all? Life wouldn't be so easy. Through English, we learn, experience and have more knowledge. With these we could conquer all because we are united. We have unity all that is what will make us conquer all even the highest mountains.

Have you ever imagined how the people in the world interact without the English language? Thanks God, we're gifted with the English language and with this, all races understand each other. Development among nations gets faster because of English. There would be no misunderstanding.

MY TEACHER, MY HERO

What comes to your mind when you hear the word teacher? And what about hearo?
For me, teacher is a person who teach us. They are our second parents when we are inside in our school. While hero is the person whom you are admire for his/her braves deeds and a distinguish courage or ability.
My teacher! My hero! Everyone of us have a hero like your parents, friends, special someone and even our teachers.
I choose our teachers as my hero because they are patient and generous people who always stand in front of the class. They teach us good manners and right conduct. They teach us our lessons which will help us in every little thing we do in our day to day living. They are educating us with all the things that we need to know and guidance in discovering all things around us.
I believe that education is very important to our lives because without education our country will not progress, Our teacher sacrifices in order for us to learn. Without our teachers we do not have professionals. I do believe that teaching is really the greatest profession. The teachers the are the ones whom we get our knowledge without our teachers we do not achieve our ambitions in life. We should respect and love our teachers for the sake of our future.

Global Warming! Land Slide! Green House Effect! La Nina!Name it! We have it. How can we solve these global problems that we are experiencing now! How can we reach other countries to talk and discuss all these problems. The people of the world is very much hungry in solving global problems.

Language is an instrument in spreading global information on how to love and care mother nature. Language is an effective key in educating people about mother nature. Through language one can expresses his ideas, thoughts and opinions. We can express his love to mother nature. We can communicate to all people from different countries of the world, using modern and high technology like internet, cellphone and others. We can exchange his ideas with them. He is currently equipped with latest information about caring mother nature. Mother nature is a gift from God. A gift that should be loved and care eternally . This is the source of our life and however destroy it, he'll be punished. Loving one's language is also loving our nature and above all love God who created all these things.

Every mother's priority is her baby's health. She wants her baby to be perfect all through his life. She wants him to have a good health, bright future, proper medicine in case of sickness, proper and nutritious food and all the best things in life a mother can give to her child.

Giving the proper and balanced meal is very much important for a baby's health. A mother should always be conscious in giving the right food for a baby. She should always seek the help of a health professional on what food to give for a baby. If a baby is given a proper and balanced meal, he will grow healthy and wise. He will be free from sickness and other health problem and probably, he will become the next leader in our country.

Dear Mr. President,

I was really amazed on how your charisma bought life to the Filipino; how you and your family inspired each and everyone's heart and mind-believing that you will be the one who put an end to the worsening problem of the country.
Sir, I truly believe that through the guidance and leadership thought to you by your parents. You will indeed help your fellow Filipinos fight the poor plight. In so doing, will finally end the worsening condition in every Filipino family- an every Filipino's dream.
May God help you find solutions in every problems the Philippine Republic is facing-.
